Did you hear, John? Speaker Nancy Pelosi will be a featured speaker at our California Democratic Party Convention!
As a former CADEM Chairperson and first woman to serve as Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi has been a monumental leader for both the California Democratic Party and the nation. And perhaps nobody has done more over the years to secure Democratic majorities in the U.S. House.
That’s why we’re asking: Will you sign a card thanking Speaker Pelosi for her decades of leadership and welcoming her to our upcoming Convention? [[link removed]]
[link removed] [[link removed]]Our Forever Speaker Pelosi has stepped up to the plate time and time again to secure a Democratic majority in the House of Representatives.
And as Speaker, she was a force of nature — passing consequential legislation like the Affordable Care Act, the Inflation Reduction Act, the Respect for Marriage Act, and fighting for justice, equity and opportunity for all Americans.
She has expanded access to health care, defended democracy, protected civil rights, and so much more.
And while she has made the decision not to seek another term in Congress, we look forward to the opportunity to hear her voice and guidance as we chart our path forward . We are so excited to have her speaking at the California Democratic Party Convention — and we want to send her a card to say thank you!
