John, I want to tell you about my friend, Peggy Flanagan.
She’s the Lieutenant Governor of Minnesota, a mom, and a lifelong organizer. Now, she’s running for US Senate, and I’m proud to endorse her grassroots campaign.
The news coming out of Minnesota in the last few weeks has been a lot to take in: ICE is conducting violent raids, storming workplaces and neighborhoods, sweeping people off the street, and arresting anyone who they assume doesn’t hold legal status.
As an immigrant, as the Ranking Member on the Immigration Subcommittee, and as someone who knows that the stories happening right now easily could’ve been my own, I cannot and will not accept this cruelty as normal.
At this moment, we need leaders who are willing to stand UP to Trump’s chaotic and cruel agenda, not enable it. That’s exactly the kind of leader I know Peggy will be in the US Senate.
Peggy has never backed down from a fight. As an organizer, she helped deliver big wins like raising the minimum wage and passing paid family and medical leave.
As Lieutenant Governor, she’s stood with immigrant communities as other politicians abandoned them for political expediency.
She’s ready to work with me to overhaul DHS, impeach Kristi Noem, and pass comprehensive immigration reform that puts dignity and safety over political stunts.
But first, she needs our help. Republicans are lining up behind a new MAGA opponent to flip this seat red. Special interests like Big Oil are flooding her race with dark money cash.
