TOMORROW: Nationwide shutdown against ICE terror!

A historic day of action is taking place tomorrow -- a nationwide shutdown to protest Trump's mass deportations that are tearing our communities apart!

Tomorrow's shutdown is inspired by last week's general strike in Minnesota. Following the murder of Alex Pretti just one day after the strike, students in Minnesota put out the call to expand the strike nationwide. The response was overwhelming -- over 1,500 organizations endorsed, hundred of student walkouts were called, and a huge number of businesses pledged to close their doors in solidarity. Artists like Jenna Ortega, Billie Eilish, Pedro Pascal and so many others have spoken out in support.

The people's struggle must continue. Terrified at the surging mass movement -- expressed most powerfully in the Minnesota general strike -- the Trump administration has started to backpedal and soften their rhetoric. But we will not be satisfied by cosmetic changes. Whether it's Bovino, Homan or any other Trump official in charge, the demand remains the same: end mass deportations once and for all! 

The Senate is currently considering a funding bill for the Department of Homeland Security -- the parent agency of ICE and Border Patrol. We demand that not another penny of our taxpayer dollars go to DHS until ICE is abolished.
