“Few Voters Say Trump’s Second Term Has Made the Country Better, Poll Finds”

– The New York Times (via DGA)

Team, answer by 11:59 p.m.:

Do you think the country is better off than it was a year ago?

BETTER OFF
ABOUT THE SAME
WORSE OFF

Team, a new poll shows that fewer than one third of Americans think the country is better off now than it was one year ago! With rollbacks on reproductive rights, attacks on health care and voting rights, rising costs, and deepening divisions in our democracy – it’s not hard to see why.

Let’s take a look at some numbers:

56%: The percentage of Americans who disapprove of the way Donald Trump is handling his presidency.

10 billion: The amount of child care funding that Trump has attempted to cut in five Dem gov-led states across the country.

17 million: The number of people who may lose their health insurance after Trump’s “Big Beautiful Bill” slashed the ACA and Medicaid.

230: The number of executive orders Trump has signed so far in just one year – over 60 more than President Biden signed in his entire term.

51%: The percentage of Americans who think Donald Trump’s actions deploying federal agents to Democratic states are making cities less safe.

And Trump has done all of this in just over one year in office!

These numbers clearly show that Trump’s actions are doing nothing but making the country worse off. Now, we urgently need to know what you think, team. Tell us now:

Do you think the country is better off than it was a year ago, about the same, or worse off?
