Commissioners approve grant awards

At a recent meeting in Lincoln, Nebraska Game and Parks commissioners approved grant funding for several outdoor recreation projects and recreational trail projects. This funding will help communities rehabilitate trails, improve community spaces and provide new recreation opportunities. 

Commissioners also adopted a new strategic plan and heard updates on Game and Parks' approach to wildlife damage; 94% of survey respondents said staff responded well to their needs.
