Dear Friends,

The U.S. Senate is considering funding for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) for the remainder of this fiscal year. As the bill stands now, it would include billions more for ICE to expand its operations. We urge you to take action today to ask your Senators to vote NO on any funding bill that would increase funding for ICE.

As we have seen time and again across the country, DHS has permitted ICE to operate less like law enforcement and more like a paramilitary force with no accountability or legal boundaries. Neither our Constitution nor our streets are safe in this environment, and if there were ever a time for Republicans and Democrats in the U.S. Congress to join hands and assert their power, this is it.

Click here to tell your Senators to vote no on more funding for ICE.

A procedural vote in the Senate today failed to move the funding bill forward, and that's a good start.  Your Senators still need to hear from you.
