Creamy Mac & CheeseIngredients - Cooked pasta
- 3 tbsp butter
- 2½ tbsp flour
- ¾ cup whole milk
- ¼ cup bone broth
- 5 to 6 oz shredded cheese
- Salt
- Parmesan (optional)
Directions In a saucepan over medium-low heat, melt the butter. Whisk in the flour a little at a time, stirring constantly. Cook for 1 to 2 minutes until thickened. Slowly add the milk while whisking, then add the bone broth. Add the cheese in small handfuls, whisking until smooth. Season with salt, toss with cooked pasta, and serve. Store leftover cheese sauce in the refrigerator for up to three days. |
