Email from Citizens for Traditional Values share this with friends View in Browser Dear Michigan Families, In the midst of this frozen Michigan tundra, the wheels of impact are still running fast and furious. Please especially note the important updates below. This tweet was just put out on Monday, January 26 by a local news service. "'The Dollhouse': Four Transgender Women Run For The Michigan House - Four Democratic candidates running for the Michigan House are making history this election cycle — and they call themselves the Dollhouse." This serves as a stark reminder that WE CANNOT SLOW DOWN AND WE CANNOT GIVE UP in Michigan. When people who love God and believe His Word but do not engage -- the other side wins the argument, the election, and the policy battle. Those who are so-called “progressives” are relentless. They do not stop their attempts to insert their destructive agendas and lifestyles into the marketplace, the schools, and the public square. We believe that we are at a turning point: more and more people are eager and ready to participate. Our efforts and your partnership with us is more important now than ever before. We are and have been standing on the line for you since 1989. Please Pray for our efforts Share our information with friends and family And donate to support our work. Thank you! Eileen McNeil President, Citizens for Traditional Values Financially Partner with CTV The Latest Information 1) Michigan Department of Education is offering professional development to teachers/administers called the Michigan LGBTQ+ Student Project. This is designed to push how to start Pro-Gay clubs. Read the story and hop on our Education Alert email list. YOU are needed to continue to keep an eye on the Michigan Department of Education and State Board of Education. There are two members that are up for election this year and efforts are underway to find the right folks to run to fill those seats. Keep us posted on what you observe with the MDE. (The next SBE meeting is February 10.) 2) Legislators are listening to you, Michigan. We attended a hearing this week, and spoke in support of State Representative Gina Johnsen's bill House Bill 5364. If passed into law, this would require Legislative approval before the State Board of Education (SBOE) makes any revisions to academic curriculum content standards. This is extremely important as it provides the correct checks and balances to our SBOE, making sure they are following state law, AND allows for more public debate and accountability to parents! Bridge Michigan talked to us about it here. 3) Attention Bay, Midland, Saginaw County residents: you have a CRITICAL election coming up on Tuesday, February 3. Here’s a list of the candidates running. Find their websites and look up their endorsements to know who best represents YOUR values!   Things We are Tracking for You Michigan Planned Parenthood expanding services to vasectomies The President is drawing a line on funding for these things and it will impact Michigan.
