Dear Future Fundraiser,

International Women’s Day on 8 March 2026 is a powerful opportunity for workplaces and communities to come together to celebrate women’s achievements and also take meaningful action for women and girls in need.

Right now, many women and children in our community are facing crisis – escaping family violence, experiencing homelessness, or navigating severe financial hardship. At Our Village, we support them with essential items, dignity and care during some of life’s most difficult moments.

This International Women’s Day, we’re inviting you to host a fundraiser for Our Village or bring your team in to volunteer at our warehouse.

Whether it’s a morning tea, team lunch, dress-for-a-cause day or workplace challenge, your fundraiser can make a real and tangible difference – helping provide everyday essentials so babies and children can thrive.

Some simple and impactful ideas include:

Hold a Morning Tea or Bake Sale, with all proceeds going towards supporting women and children in need.

Host a Long Lunch with a panel or fireside chat featuring inspirational women leaders, founders or frontline workers, with ticket sales and a raffle supporting Our Village.

Organise a Team Volunteering Day [[link removed]*jijizn*_gcl_au*MTk5NjY0NjE3NC4xNzYzMzMwMTc3#ccGrid_11] – bring your colleagues together for an impactful day volunteering in our Melbourne or Geelong warehouses.
