Let me be crystal clear:
Arizona’s Stand Your Ground law does NOT apply to law enforcement officers - including ICE.
That is NOT an opinion. That is black‑letter law.
Arizona Revised Statutes § 13‑419(C)(4) explicitly excludes law enforcement officers acting in the course of their duties. You cannot lawfully use force against ICE. If you do, you will be prosecuted - and rightly so - for MURDER.
Yet Kris Mayes went out and told the public otherwise.
That is not just wrong - it is grossly irresponsible.
This is exactly why she keeps losing in court. Her win rate is awful because she doesn’t know the facts, she doesn’t know the law, and she doesn’t care about the consequences. When the state’s top prosecutor misleads the public, the result is chaos, violence, and shattered lives.
While Mayes plays politics and grandstands, I’m doing the work:
- Strengthening oversight of broken agencies
- Driving real audits and accountability
- Pushing real border security
- Standing with law enforcement
- Fighting child trafficking, cartel activity, and government corruption
- Defending the rule of law when others abandon it
But here’s the reality: we are coming up on critical reporting deadlines, and the political class is watching closely. If we show weakness now, the swamp will smell blood — and they will pour money into Arizona to silence voices like mine.
I will not back down. I will not sugarcoat the truth. And I will not let incompetence at the top endanger Arizona families.
