The reality, John, is that Trump and I could not be more different in our approaches to Government or leadership.

Just take a look at what our administration has accomplished here in Rhode Island versus his in Washington:

• We eliminated the car tax to help lower costs for working families, while Trump passed a budget to deliver more savings for the wealthy and corporations.
• We returned $40 million to families through the child tax rebate, while Trump and MAGA let this expire. 
• We made major investments in schools, public safety, and behavioral health, while Trump has attacked public schools, gutted their funding, and even gone after universities across the country. 
• And let's not forget that he allowed health care costs to soar and used SNAP benefits as a bargaining chip while we protected them. 

We're making progress in Rhode Island and focusing on affordability while Trump drags our country backwards and wreaks havoc across the country.
