 SERVICE UPDATES: WEDNESDAY, JAN. 28
As the impacts from winter weather continue to ease across the region, Trinity Metro is increasing service tomorrow, Wednesday, Jan. 28. Service levels reflect roadway conditions, operating readiness, and safety considerations for customers and team members.
Below are the services and operating hours for Wednesday.
-
TEXRail: Will begin service on an hourly schedule and transition toward its regular schedule by 10 a.m., as conditions allow.
-
Trinity Railway Express (TRE): Regular service schedule
-
Trinity Metro Bus: Service begins at 10 a.m. operating on Saturday schedules with weather-related detours as detailed HERE.
-
TRE Link: Will operate beginning at noon on a Saturday schedule.
-
On-Demand paratransit: Operating for life-sustaining trips only.
-
On-Demand rideshare: Rides available beginning at noon in all service areas.
-
CentrePort Circulator (route 30): Suspended due to continuing secondary road conditions.
-
Customer Service Phone: 5 a.m.–10 p.m.
-
Central Station Transit Kiosk: Open 10 a.m.–5 p.m.
Service decisions continue to be based on roadway access, weather, and safety. As temperatures drop, refreezing may create icy conditions, particularly on local streets, walkways and at outdoor stops. Trinity Metro will continue restoring service toward normal capacity and schedules as conditions improve.
Customers are encouraged to:
- allow extra travel time
- check the status of their service before leaving
- wear appropriate clothing for extreme cold temperatures
- use caution and be aware of slick or icy surfaces at stations, stops, and along walkways
