I am outraged by what we have seen transpire over the last month in Minneapolis.

Masked government agents in their official capacity — authorized by the President and his administration — executing Americans. It should be inconceivable to write such words.

I voted against funding this operation and empowering this Department of Homeland Security. I urge every senator to do the same and refuse to bankroll lawlessness cloaked in the name of “law enforcement.”

I joined more than 140 lawmakers in co-sponsoring a resolution to impeach Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem for her role in this crisis. She violated the public trust, obstructed Congress, and failed to protect the American people.

Donald Trump and his lawless administration must be held accountable. No administration — and no official — is above the law.
