Hi John,

Someone asked me a question at a recent town hall that stuck with me:

“What separates you from another Democrat in the race who eventually
called what’s happening in Gaza a genocide?”

It’s a fair question, and I want to give you my honest explanation.

First, imagine someone asks you what color the sky is. You’d immediately
say blue.

Now, picture someone else who doesn’t answer the question clearly. They
stall. They wait to see what everyone else says.

Months go by before they finally admit, “Fine… it’s blue,” but only after
checking if that answer was okay to say.

Clearly, something is odd about that. And what if you later learned the
reason they hesitated to call the sky blue was because they were trying to
win over support from people who didn’t want them to say blue?

That’s the difference between me and the other candidate,
John.

I don’t gut-check my beliefs with AIPAC or any pro-Israel groups behind
closed doors.

I’ve been honest about my stance on this from day one: Our tax dollars
shouldn’t fund genocide overseas. They should be invested in improving
life here at home.

This will undoubtedly make me enemy #1 in AIPAC’s eyes, and honestly,
that’s fine with me.
