The first legislative session of 2026 is underway! We’re hard at work fighting for you every single day.
From passing this year’s budget, to supporting school districts at the ballot box, to establishing emergency election provisions, there is a lot of critical work being done! Most importantly, we’re fighting hard to limit ICE’s presence at polling places, allowing everyone to exercise their right to vote.
We still have a few weeks left of session, and Jack, I want to hear from you: What issues are most important to you?
My vision for New Mexico is bold, inclusive, and rooted in the values that keep our communities strong. I am committed to protecting our democracy, strengthening voting rights, and standing firm against Donald Trump’s extremism. I will champion everyday priorities like affordable healthcare, strong public schools, and real economic opportunity.
That is the work I have committed myself to for years, and it is what I will continue to do as your Lieutenant Governor.
