We officially have a date for the vote on redistricting.
It’s official:
Virginia lawmakers have set April 21 as the most likely date for the redistricting vote. That gives us less than three months to inform voters, cut through right wing misinformation, and build the momentum needed to win.
Twelve weeks is not a lot of time, and we can’t afford to waste a single day.
Donald Trump and his allies will do everything they can to distort the truth about this crucial campaign — spreading confusion and trying to find new ways to rig congressional maps in favor of their own partisan political agenda.
We cannot afford to let that happen.
This temporary redistricting amendment isn’t about partisan games. It’s about protecting fair elections and representation for Virginians — full stop.
Over the next twelve weeks, Virginians for Fair Elections must reach voters in every corner of the Commonwealth with the facts: What this amendment does, why it matters, and how a YES vote protects voters’ voices in Washington.
That takes resources, and it’s why we’re asking now.
A contribution today helps us:
- Launch voter education before misinformation takes hold
- Fund rapid response as attacks ramp up
- Reach undecided voters who may only hear about this once
The clock is ticking and April 21 will be here before we know it.
Can you chip in right now to help us make the most of these next twelve weeks? Donate today to protect fair elections in Virginia and stop the GOP from rigging the midterms.
