Gregory Bovino is leaving Minneapolis under pressure after federal agents
under his command killed Alex Pretti and terrorized communities. He is
being sent back to California, with reports that retirement awaits him.
Power protects its own.
Trump responded by installing Tom Homan to oversee immigration enforcement
in Minnesota. Kristi Noem signed off. Now the architects of that violence
get exits, pensions, and press spin while everyday Americans carry the
damage.
Communities deserve consequences that match the harm. Leadership that
authorizes brutality cannot quietly reset and move on. Allowing those
responsible to walk away deepens the wound and signals permission for the
next abuse.
Bovino carries responsibility. So do Noem, Homan, and Trump. They built
this operation together. They own its outcomes together. Real
accountability requires their removal from power and an end to the system
they weaponized.
