Congressman Al Green to Hold Press Conference on Minneapolis Shootings, DHS, ICE, and Presidential Accountability

(Houston, TX) — Today, Congressman Al Green, a Member of the House Committee on Homeland Security, will hold a press conference to address the recent shootings and killings in Minneapolis, Minnesota involving federal immigration enforcement, and to raise serious concerns regarding the funding, oversight, and conduct of DHS and ICE under the Trump administration. The press conference will take place via Facebook Live Stream at 1:00 p.m. CT.

Congressman Al Green stated, “The loss of life in Minneapolis is unacceptable. The American people are demanding accountability from DHS, ICE, and President Trump to ensure federal authority is not being abused in ways that put American lives at risk.”
