If you’ve been keeping up with Blue Momentum, my leadership PAC, then you know that we’re as determined as ever to hold on to our majority in the House -- that means not only supporting candidates looking to flip seats from red to blue, but also backing Democrats running in competitive re-elections.

That includes my friend, Rep. Matt Cartwright (PA-08), who represents a Congressional District the Washington Post called a “must-win” for Republicans if they’re to have any chance of taking back the House. Donald Trump won this district by 10 points in 2016, and now Donald Trump Jr. is raising big bucks for Matt’s opponent as the far-right media attacks him. We can’t afford to lose Matt’s voice, which is why I’m counting on my supporters to chip in and support Matt’s re-election today.

Matt’s been out front on so many of the issues that we’re fighting for, from securing hazard pay for our essential workers during the coronavirus crisis, to advocating for more direct payments to Americans, to sounding the alarm on COVID-19 in prisons. We need Matt’s leadership, and we need to protect this seat from the special interest groups working to elect a pro-Trump Republican instead.
