John, you read that write. Senator Hickenlooper actually said that serving in the U.S. Senate ‘sucks.’

He should be ashamed. Coloradans entrusted him with the honor of serving them in Congress, but he’s taking it for granted and it shows.

What actually ‘sucks’ is having a representative that enrichs themselves on stock trades while the people they represent struggle to afford rent, groceries, and healthcare.

It ‘sucks’ that he voted in favor of Trump’s Cabinet nominees that have been steamrolling the MAGA agenda – from passing the largest Medicaid cuts in history to terrorizing our communities through aggressive ICE operations.

And it ‘sucks’ that he’s reiterating the same old tired excuses to not pass a New Green Deal, Medicare for All, or funding affordable housing – because apparently we can fund bombs instead of fulfilling the basic needs of every American.

Colorado needs a Senadora who actually wants the job, friend.
