On Friday, Minneapolis came together for a massive protest against the ICE occupation and the murder of Renee Good:

Tens of thousands of people came together to reject the Trump administration’s brutality and stand in solidarity with their neighbors. Unions and workplaces organized to stage a huge walkout and economic boycott. 100 faith leaders blocked a key road in an act of peaceful civil disobedience. Kids in schools even staged organized protests. All of Minneapolis wants ICE to go.

The immigration agents occupying our city responded to these protests by murdering Alex Pretti.

When Renee Good was murdered and the administration immediately rushed to defend the killing and shield Jonathan Ross from accountability, they sent a very clear signal to the officers carrying out their immigration agenda: You have a license to kill with the President’s protection.

It was only a matter of time until this happened again. Because the goal for Trump, JD Vance, Stephen Miller, Kristi Noem, and the entire corrupt administration is to unleash ICE’s violence on Minnesota and hold hostage a state that did not vote for them and continues to stand up to them.

Just look at how they are trying to meddle in Minnesota’s elections:

This is a blatant attempt to undermine Minnesota’s democratic system under the threat of more violence from immigration enforcement.

That’s why Ilhan Omar voted against funding DHS and ICE and is leading the fight to block the funding package, impeach Kristi Noem, and abolish ICE for good.

In the meantime – Keep protesting, documenting, organizing, and showing up for your neighbors. We have to face this crisis head on.
