I did not mince my words this weekend: ICE is a group of pathetic, untrained, and unprofessional cowards. They not only need to be defunded, but they need to be prosecuted. They committed their second murder of ICU Nurse Alex Pretti in Minneapolis this past weekend.
It is time to defund, prosecute, and impeach. That's what I'm asking you to sign on to today, John.
FIRST: Stop funding DHS. I have already introduced the Healthcare Reinvestment Act to take $75B Trump pushed into ICE and reallocate it to Affordable Care Act subsidies. Families need health care, not violent, unaccountable federal agents murdering American citizens in their neighborhoods.
SECOND: Prosecute ICE. I authored the NOEM Act at the end of 2025, before the two murders in Minneapolis. It allows victims of constitutional violations to sue federal immigration officers who violate their constitutional rights.
THIRD: Impeach Kristi Noem and get rid of Stephen Miller. I’m cosponsoring Articles of Impeachment against Secretary Noem, and it's time we force the Trump Administration to get rid of the racist domestic terrorist Stephen Miller. From obstruction of justice, violation of public trust, and self-dealing, their reign of terror as heads of an American Gestapo-style agency must end. Leadership that undermines oversight and shields abuse cannot remain in power.
This administration is the most morally and financially corrupt administration in American history, and we must act now to stop its heinous acts and behavior.
