Congressional Republicans just voted to open up the Boundary Waters — the most visited wilderness in America — to toxic mining.

Those who’ve visited this area will tell you how beautiful it is: it’s a rare, untouched landscape of pristine lakes, giant rock formations, old-growth forests, and abundant wildlife. But now it’s being turned over to extractive mining companies for profit.

This is another example of Donald Trump and House Republicans putting corporate interests ahead of our environment and public lands. When will it end?
