Friend,

It happened again. 

Trump’s police force murdered somebody again. 

And again, there are dozens of videos from dozens of angles. 

And while we understand that this is an ongoing investigation, we have eyes. We can see the victim never even touch the gun he was legally allowed to carry. We can see the victim outnumbered by at least 8. We can see one “agent” unnecessarily shoot a defenseless person ten times in the back. From what normal people can tell, this was a murder. 

From what the dog (and now people) killer and her orange overlord can tell though, this was the right move. This was what should've happened. This was the only safe option. 

So, we all know what’s going to happen next. MAGA’s going to destroy any chance of a real investigation into this, the White House will sweep this under the rug and try to invade Canada or whatever to distract, and another one of Trump’s masked thugs will continue roaming the streets and terrorizing (and possibly murdering) American citizens. 

At a time like this, it’s easy to get discouraged. It’s easy to feel completely powerless against this regime. Trump and his cult are doing whatever they want, and the truth is being buried. And right now, at this very moment, there’s nobody in Washington who can stop them. 

It’s a bad situation to be in. But it’s not a hopeless situation. While all of this is going on, this movement is only getting stronger. People are getting more pissed off, and our job remains exactly the same: make Republicans feel the pain, and make sure Democrats don’t give an inch. 

The midterms are in November. That’s when we can take MAGA down at an institutional level. Until then though, we have to keep protesting. We have to keep squashing the Trump machine’s lies, we have to keep filming injustice, and we have to keep looking forward. Because America is better than this moment. And if we band together, we will take down this regime and rebuild democracy. 

Our mission has never been more important. Regimes like this are always toppled by people like us. Thanks for standing with us in this fight.
