John,

Last Friday, more than 75,000 Minnesotans marched in the streets of Minneapolis, outraged over the assault on their communities, the killing of Renee Good, and the kidnapping of five-year-old Liam Ramos. On Saturday, Alex Pretti–another Minnesotan, AFGE Local 704 member, ICU nurse, and federal worker caring for veterans–was publicly executed by ICE on a busy local street.

Minnesotans will not give in to this regime. They are standing strong. And we must stand with them.

Four actions you can do TODAY to stand in solidarity:

  1. Send a letter to your Senator: tell them no funding for ICE.

  2. Attend a ICE Out Nonviolent Action Training TONIGHT, January 26 at 7:30pm ET/4:30pm PT.

  3. Demand corporations like Target become 4th Amendment businesses, cease economic relations with ICE, and refuse ICE entry to their property for staging grounds. Get started here.

  4. Head to iceoutforgood.org for more information on how to engage in coordinated action across the country.

Remember: Together we will win. With every heartbreak, we demonstrate even greater resilience and solidarity. Working people are only getting stronger.

After you've taken action, help us spread the word! 🤳

Union member. Friend. Mother. Caregiver. Nurse. Father. Student. Congress must protect our neighbors and join working people in this fight for democracy. Tell your senator to step up: VOTE NO on ICE funding!

Across the country, hundreds of thousands of working people have taken to the streets to denounce ICE and Krisi Noem’s out-of-control Department of Homeland Security. Communities are leaning on their neighbors to deliver groceries, organizing ICE patrols, boycotting complicit corporations, and countless other small acts of resistance. This is true courage in the face of authoritarian violence. And it’s costing more and more innocent lives each day. It’s past time for Congress to join working people on the frontlines. Tell your senator to STEP UP: Vote NO on ICE Funding!
