City of Harker Heights Continues Temporary Closure of Non-Essential Offices until Noon, Tuesday, January 27, 2026

Emergency services, as well as the Streets and Water Departments, will remain fully operational to ensure public safety and continuity of critical services.

The VFW/City of Harker Heights Warming Center, located at 201 VFW Drive, will remain open to serve those in need.

The City will continue to monitor conditions and provide additional updates as information becomes available. Further communications updates will be issued tomorrow.
