A Resolution That Reaches Beyond the New YearThe start of a new year invites reflection—and resolutions. We promise ourselves we’ll do better, slow down, or finally make time for what matters. But what if one resolution this year reached beyond your own life and brought comfort and connection to someone who has already sacrificed so much? At Soldiers’ Angels, we believe anyone can be an Angel—no matter how much or how little time or resources they have to give. As we move into 2026, there are meaningful ways to support Service Members, Veterans, and Military Families—whether from home, in person, or alongside your team. Through virtual volunteering, a handwritten letter reminds a deployed Service Member they’re not forgotten, homemade treats offer a taste of home, and a handmade blanket brings warmth to a hospitalized Veteran. Small moments, created from anywhere, make a lasting impact. For those who serve in person, the connection is immediate. Volunteers help distribute groceries, support families, and spend time with Veterans at VA hospitals. This past year, Soldiers’ Angels expanded food assistance efforts, opened additional food pantries and food distributions, and served more families than ever, made possible by people choosing to show up. And when teams serve together, the impact grows even stronger. Corporate partners and community groups come together to pack kits, sponsor food distributions, and serve side by side—building connection while making a real difference. This year, let your resolution be more than a goal. Let it be a moment of gratitude, connection, and hope—one that makes a difference for someone else and for you. Celebrating the Opening of Our San Antonio Military & Veteran Food PantryOn January 16th, Soldiers’ Angels proudly celebrated the ribbon cutting of our new Military and Veteran Food Pantry in San Antonio—a major step forward in addressing food insecurity for Service Members, Veterans, and their families in our community. Made possible through the generous support of The Boeing Company, this pantry will provide ongoing access to groceries and pantry staples for Active Duty, Guard, Reserve, and at-risk Veterans. With rising costs of living impacting military-connected families, this space offers dignity, choice, and consistent support, allowing participants to select the items they need most. Thank you to our volunteers, partners, and community members who joined us to celebrate this important milestone. Together, we’re ensuring no one who served is left without support.
