The national pundits are learning what folks on the ground in TX-25 have known all along: We are going to win.

Julie Oliver for Congress

This is huge, Team. A new poll from the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) shows that this race is within the margin of error:

DCCC Poll (7/27/20)
Julie Oliver: 43%
Roger Williams: 45%

We have shifted this race from a 21 point advantage for the Republican incumbent to a statistical tie, and the national pundits are learning what folks on the ground in TX-25 have known all along: We are going to win.

Momentum is on our side and we need to keep it that way. Chip in $5 to this people-powered campaign today so we have the resources we'll need to win in 99 days.

A lot of people counted Julie out. But something special is happening here in Texas.

You can feel it with conversations our organizers and volunteers are having with voters in the district: folks from Wimberley to Burleson and everywhere in between are sick of politicians like Roger Williams prioritizing himself and the needs of his corporate donors over his constituents. They're hungry for change.

Today's poll is proof that even in the reddest of districts, a progressive candidate like Julie — who unapologetically supports Medicare for All and rejects all PAC money, by the way — can flip this seat.

But this race is only going to get more competitive now that Roger Williams and his big-money donors know how close this race is. We need to step up our efforts to help Julie close this narrow gap. Pitch in right now to show that our movement of people, not PACs, is ready to shock everyone in November.

Thanks for everything you're doing — it's working. Let's keep it up.
