Republicans are openly ignoring the will of Missouri voters—and if we don’t fight back immediately, they will get away with it. Will you donate today to help me stop these attacks before more damage is done? [[link removed]]
This week marked fifty-three years since SCOTUS affirmed the constitutional right to abortion via Roe v. Wade . That ruling was a promise that our bodies and our futures belong to us. For forty-nine years, it protected us—until the Trump-packed Supreme Court overturned it in June of 2022.
In Missouri, voters did their part to protect abortion access in-state. In 2024, we enshrined abortion rights into our state constitution. But Republicans in Jefferson City and Washington are refusing to accept the results. They are escalating their attacks anyway, and too many leaders in D.C. are choosing not to fight back.
I have been on the front lines of this fight, working to enshrine gender equality and bodily autonomy into the Constitution through the Equal Rights Amendment. I was a former co-founder and co-chair of the ERA Caucus in Congress and the lead sponsor of the ERA Now Resolution.
As for my opponent? He is a former Republican campaign manager for an anti-abortion extremist.
These attacks are happening now. Our bodies are being legislated by Republicans who want to control us. And our leaders are letting it happen.
We can’t sit by while this happens. If you believe Roe’s promise is worth fighting for, donate right now to help us protect abortion care, defeat extremist money, and send a true reproductive champion back to Congress. [[link removed]]
