I’m honored to introduce myself as the new Interim Executive Director of the Ohio Democratic Party. Stepping into this role at such a pivotal moment for Ohio feels energizing and deeply meaningful.

At its core, my job is simple. I’m here to implement the party’s strategic vision for this year and beyond. We’re working to build a strong, durable Democratic infrastructure across Ohio that can support our candidates running for office at every level so we can win elections that will shape our state and our country.

This battle for Ohio’s future is personal to me. I’m a proud Ohio State alum who also got the chance to teach undergraduate classes there. It was actually that experience – seeing the impact the first Trump presidency had on my students – that got me into politics.

My first full-time campaign job was also right here in Ohio, where I worked on Kathleen Clyde’s race for Secretary of State.

Since then, I’ve had the chance to work on campaigns across Ohio, Pennsylvania, and New York. Every single one taught me the same lesson: when Democrats show up, organize, and fight for a better future, we can win anywhere.

This role means a great deal to me. I’m inspired by this party’s grassroots supporters who believe Ohio can, and must, do better.

From protecting our fundamental right to vote to making sure Ohio’s families can afford to put food on the table or pay their electricity bill, to fixing the rigged system that protects billionaires and corporations at the expense of Ohio’s workers, the stakes of this year’s midterms couldn’t be higher.
