Dear John,
Have your health care premiums increased this year?
Right now, thousands of people in the Inland Empire are seeing their monthly insurance premiums and their health care become unaffordable because Donald Trump's and Republicans' policies let the Affordable Care Act tax credits expire.
I’ve heard from countless people in our community about how they have already seen their health insurance premiums double or even triple since the start of 2026. Our neighbors are having to decide between paying their bills or affording their health care.
House Democrats recently led an effort to restore these tax credits and stop these health care costs from soaring, but Senate Republicans have not yet voted on this legislation.
This isn’t right. The American people should not have to suffer crippling health insurance costs because of Senate Republicans’ inaction.
Have your health care premiums increased this year?
If you’ve already been impacted, I want to hear from you. Please consider sharing your story with my office by filling out the form linked here.
It’s time for Trump and Republicans to work with Democrats to pass policies that lower the cost of your health insurance and ensure that working families can get the affordable, quality health care that they need.
Thanks,

Pete Aguilar
Member of Congress
