If I’m being honest, asking for money is one of my least favorite parts of this job. It’s awkward and uncomfortable, and it’s not how I was raised. But the reality is, it’s something we just have to do. Here’s why:

While our opponents are taking big checks from corporate PACs and voting how they want, I’m committed to doing things differently. We’re running a completely grassroots campaign that’s focused on Upstate New Yorkers, not special interests.

That means it might take a little more work to compete in such an expensive environment, but our team has defied the odds before, and I know we can do it again – but we need to start building out a strong campaign infrastructure early on to hold this seat and help take back the House in November.
