John,

This week marks 1 year of Donald Trump’s second term as president. 1 year in, is Kansas better off? Well, here’s where we stand:

  • Trump promised no new wars. We’ve spent the last two months threatening our NATO allies and reading constant stories about the threat of war with Venezuela and Iran.

  • Trump promised cheaper groceries. Kansas households are now paying over $500 a month for groceries*

  • Trump promised to cut energy prices in half. Kansans are paying 10% more for heating on cold days like today than they did last year.

However - it’s not all broken promises.

  • Trump promised to leave the World Health Organization, Paris Climate Accords, and the UN Human Rights Council.

  • Trump promised to destroy our export market by starting ego-driven trade wars paid for by Kansans with tariffs.

  • Trump promised to send ICE to terrorize the most vulnerable of us.

We are not better off than we were a year ago. The people of Kansas can not afford to continue to send Senators and congressmen to Washington who stand by passively while Trump delivers on every promise he made to tear our country apart while making everyday life for Kansans harder.

We must take back congress in 2026. We’re investing in the infrastructure we need to send Democrats to Washington to put a stop to this, but it all depends on you. John, can you rush a donation of $5, $10, $25, or whatever you can give to make sure we have the resources to win in 2026?
