ICE agents just detained a 5-year-old boy on his way home from school in Minnesota – and a local school leader says they were using him as bait to get his family members out of their house. ENOUGH.

We've all seen the mounting cruelty as ICE doubles down – families torn apart, children traumatized, communities terrorized. But here's what gets less attention: behind every ICE raid, a handful of corporations are cashing in.

GEO Group and CoreCivic, the two biggest private prison contractors, funneled nearly $4.3 million into Trump and GOP campaigns last election cycle – betting that more deportations will bring more profit. And their investment pays off every time ICE expands its reach: deportation oligarchs have seen an obscene 11,050% return on their political investments.

We're fighting back. Our team – led by our organizer Dieu Do on the ground in Minnesota – has been on the frontlines of rapid response to support families and organize mass resistance like today's #ICEout Walkout, while also launching a national campaign to defund the ICE oligarchs raking in profits.

Dieu is heartbroken by what she's seeing unfold: she herself was tear gassed on the street while trying to help a pregnant woman get care during a chaotic ICE raid. And she is working with local leaders pushing for an eviction moratorium while ICE is in town terrorizing neighbors in their homes.

The profit on this cruelty is staggering. Last year, ICE spent $1.2 billion of our taxpayer dollars on private prison contractors, and another $500 million on private transportation including air charter services – all to supercharge Trump's deportation machine.

Every dollar these profiteers pocket comes at the expense of families like those in Minnesota. They're turning misery into money and turning children into leverage.
