The Trump administration has made a mess of the Department of Education. It is appalling.

As an educator, I know firsthand what our students and faculty need to succeed in our schools. It is support, consistency, and trust in schools to do the right thing — not more budget cuts and lack of support from an unqualified Secretary of Education.

John, I am committed to calling out the administration. I recently wrote a letter to Sec. McMahon, urging an end to any actions that would circumvent Congress and dismantle the Department of Education.
