Hi John,
The Center for Freethought Equality members meeting will be held on-line Sunday, August 9, 2020 from 1:30-3:00pm (Eastern). In addition to hearing about the exciting work we are doing in this important election year, we are pleased to have as a guest speaker Rep. Sean Casten (IL-6), who will talk about his membership in the Congressional Freethought Caucus and activities on Capitol Hill.
Our member meetings are usually in-person and held in conjunction with the American Humanist Association Annual (AHA) Conference; however, this year due to the pandemic the AHA Conference is virtual. As you know, the Center for Freethought Equality (CFE) is the advocacy and political arm of the American Humanist Association.
At our members' meeting we will discuss the advocacy activities of CFE and the electoral activities of our connected political action committee the Freethought Equality Fund. If you have items you would like to hear discussed at this year's meeting please email me.
Thank you for your membership and support!
Sincerely,
Ron Millar
Political and PAC Coordinator
