Hi John,

My name is Brian Poindexter. I’m a union ironworker and a proud Democrat.
And I recently announced my run for Congress in Ohio’s 7th District. Blue
Amp Action said I could reach out to tell you about our race.

I’ve spent my entire life in this community: working job sites, balancing
multiple jobs, worrying about bills, raising a family, and showing up for
my neighbors. I know what it feels like to work hard and still get
squeezed by the Washington elites.

That’s why I’m in this race for Congress.

Because this country doesn’t run on hedge funds, corporate boardrooms, or
billionaire donors.

It runs on workers — the people who punch the clock, run the job site,
drive the truck, teach the kids, care for seniors, power the grid, and
keep this place going.

Those folks are the foundation of America. But in Washington, we’re
treated like a line item to cut when it’s convenient. Here in OH-7, we are
used to being an afterthought:

When tax cuts get handed out, they go to the wealthy.

When subsidies get discussed, corporations jump to the front of the line.

When the national debt becomes the crisis of the day, working families get
told to “tighten their belts.”

Meanwhile, utility rates keep climbing, health care premiums keep rising,
and wages never seem to catch up.

I’m running because this district deserves a representative who answers to
workers and neighbors, not lobbyists and special interests. The people of
OH-7 are ready for change. This is a working-class district that, if we
flip it, we will take back the House.

[ [link removed] ]To do that, we need to show that this campaign is powered by grassroots
supporters, not sneaky special interests. So here’s my ask: If you believe
working people deserve a real seat at the table, can you split a
contribution between me and Blue Amp Action to help keep this campaign
strong?

With the support of people like you, John, I know we can flip
this seat, put a worker in Congress, and make sure this district is never
written off again.

Thank you for being with me,

Brian Poindexter
