Hey, I’m sorry to reach out so late, but I just got a text from my campaign team. Things aren’t looking good.

The National Press Secretary for the NRCC just called me out by name. We’re up against a huge fundraising deadline. Now, I just heard we’re falling $1,395 short of our goal.

Needless to say, our campaign is facing a lot right now — so I’m really hoping I can count on you.

In a district as important as this, just one missed fundraising goal can quickly snowball out of control. It would mean fewer TV ads, fewer events, and fewer voters hearing our message throughout the election year. Please, can you chip in just a few dollars before midnight to make sure that doesn’t happen?

Listen, what we raise right now doesn’t only impact our campaign in January. The resources we’re able to get in the door today lays the foundation for the kind of campaign we can run in October and November.

All of that is to say: In a district like CA-47, early money and early support makes all the difference.

Please, will you help us close the gap before we have to make some tough finance decisions? I wouldn’t ask if it wasn’t extremely important.
