But Lauren Boebert took it to a whole new level of delusion, retweeting a post by right-wing extremist and Virginia legislator Nick Freitas who claims Democrats begged for Renee Good to be murdered:     This is sickening. The video is public and clear as day, Renee Good was not attempting to harm the ICE agents with her vehicle. A recently released autopsy report suggests the fatal shot was the third and final shot, which the video recording shows was taken from the side of the vehicle while Renee's vehicle was clearly passing by the unharmed agent. Boebert is essentially claiming Democrats sacrificed the life of a mother and orphaned a child just so ICE would receive negative media attention. It’s something only a deeply deranged person would come up with. And it’s not just her words, but her actions too. Boebert is a member of the House Oversight Committee—the Congressional committee whose primary responsibility is to hold agencies like ICE accountable. Instead of doing her job, Boebert voted to block a measure that would have required ICE to release footage, videos, and documents related to the killing. We have to restore sanity to Congress. Politicians like Boebert who only view politics as a team sport, devoid of any convictions, morality, or sense of duty, are destroying this nation. And voters in CO-4 see it. That is why she is more vulnerable than ever. She is only in Congress because of 546 votes.
