the balance in this race and signaling that Iowans are ready for a better
way forward.

September 2nd, 2025

Partisan insider Joni Ernst announced she wouldn’t seek re-election, which
means Iowa has an open governor’s race AND Senate race for the first time
since 1968! (same year Casey’s opened btw)

December 30th, 2025

Democrats won the special election for Iowa State Senate, denying the
partisan insiders a supermajority and capping off the year with Democrats’
6th special election overperformance!

January 8th, 2026

My team announced our record-breaking 2025 fundraising haul, which came
from more than 115,000 individual donations — nearly 97% of which were
donations of $100 or less.
