ICE started by saying they were arresting criminals, then immigrants, then
protestors, then “awful women,” and now not even a five-year-old is safe
from being hauled away.

Despite months of ICE terrorizing our communities — raiding homes, ripping
families apart, and killing 37-year-old Minneapolis mother Renee Good —
the House of Representatives just voted to keep funding ICE and bankroll
more of the same violence.
That vote tells women and families exactly where we stand: our safety is
expendable, our children are collateral, and we are expected to live with
fear while they bankroll more violence.
The House members who voted for this will live with this shame for the
rest of their lives. The Senate still has a choice. But one thing is
clear: If Congress won’t stop ICE, people will.
