⏰ Before Congress votes on a funding bill that could give millions more of our taxpayer dollars to ICE, will you send a letter to your lawmakers to demand no more money for death & destruction?

Friend,
This week, Congress will be negotiating a funding bill that could add $400 MILLION to ICE’s detention budget, increasing their capacity to detain an additional 44,500 of our neighbors each day!
With ICE already set to receive $45 BILLION over the next few years through last year’s reconciliation bill, this funding bill would multiply ICE’s capacity to target and harass our communities.
Your members of Congress need to hear from you before voting on a bill that will decide how our hard-earned tax dollars will be spent. Your House Representatives could vote at any moment now, and the Senate is set to vote early next week. ⏰ Will you send a letter to your members of Congress NOW to demand them to vote NO on additional funding for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS)?

When Congress chooses to fund death and destruction, our communities pay the price:
Six deaths under ICE custody have already been reported in 2026 alone. We’ve witnessed ICE agents shoot our neighbors, drag people out of their cars and homes without a warrant, and even throw tear gas at a six-month-old infant and her family.
These are not isolated incidents. Congress is using billions of our taxpayer dollars to fund these horrifying actions. That’s billions of dollars that never make their way down to our communities and the resources we need, such as healthcare, public education, and housing.
Congress has the opportunity to put our communities first by choosing to fund the services we need instead of continuing to funnel billions of dollars into death and destruction. Have your members of Congress heard from you yet? ✍️ Send your letter today to demand Congress vote NO on additional funding for DHS! When you send your letter, you’ll receive an email with ways to invite your friends and family to reach out to Congress.
