We’ve made major strides in building a coalition of Ohioans committed to protecting our democracy.

2026 began with a maelstrom of news, but connecting with so many of you across the state has been the best reminder that all around us, there are people who are working tirelessly to hold our government to account and pushing our great state to be even better. And I’m honored that so many of you have put your faith in me to lead the charge.

The reality of campaigns like ours is that we’re the underdogs. Republicans want to think that because they’ve held the Secretary of State’s office for the last decade, they’ve got a safe seat.

But here’s the deal: We’ve got our first major fundraising deadline of 2026 on January 31, and it’s our first chance of the year to prove to pundits, voters, and Republicans alike that we’re not only a challenge, but we’re poised to win.

That’s why we’re aiming to raise $25,000 in the next 9 days — we need to send a message that we’re organized and ready to flip this office for the first time since 2007.
