I have a quick but incredible update from the trail: The latest polling out of South Dakota shows me leading incumbent Senator Mike Rounds by three points if we can get our message out.

This isn't just a "good sign"—it is proof of a historic shift. For decades, the establishment said an Independent couldn't win here. These numbers prove them wrong.

In a head-to-head matchup, South Dakotans are choosing the Cowboy Code and the integrity of a retired Lt. Colonel over a 32 year career politician.
