CF Foundation Policy Update for Indoor Event Attendance for People With CF
The CF Foundation has
updated its Event Attendance Policy for Foundation-sponsored in-person events ([link removed])
based on new evidence from COVID-19 research that shows generous spacing between individuals indoors reduces the risk of infection.
For indoor events, the number of guests with CF is now based on venue size (up to one person per 2,500 square feet of meeting space) and may exceed one person at a time. While there are a small number of CF Foundation events that currently fall within this category, this policy change may provide attendees who have CF with some additional opportunities to participate in-person while still helping to limit the risk of infection. For outdoor events, the attendance policy remains unchanged, and there is no restriction on the number of guests with CF.
