Today marks the 53rd anniversary of the Roe v. Wade decision — a reminder that, for decades, the law recognized something simple and important: health care decisions belong to patients, families, and doctors — not politicians.

Even though Roe v. Wade was overturned three and a half years ago, Republicans want to go even further .

Right now, Republicans in Congress are setting the stage for a national abortion ban. As they raise healthcare costs across the board, their plan also restricts the freedom to make healthcare decisions in the first place.

I refuse to accept that future — and I won’t stop fighting back. If you believe reproductive health care must be defended, not dismantled — will you please add your name to stand with me right now? [[link removed]]

I took this fight to the House floor because Ohio families are already feeling the consequences of the GOP’s agenda. I’ve heard from constituents who are worried about affording care, losing coverage, and having politicians interfere in deeply personal medical decisions instead of helping families make ends meet.

This moment demands clarity and action. Reproductive health care is not a bargaining chip or a political talking point. It is a right — and it must be defended.

Will you add your name to my petition to defend reproductive health care and stand up for the freedom to make personal medical decisions? [[link removed]]

Thank you for standing with me — and for standing up for care that puts people first.
