Over 1,800 people came out for our Fighting Oligarchy event with Analilia Mejia in New Jersey.

Today, I want to share big news: the Progressive Change Campaign Committee is endorsing Analilia Mejia for Congress in New Jersey’s 11th Congressional District. I have endorsed Analilia as well, and after speaking with her to a crowd of over 1,800 people in New Jersey this weekend, a major stop on my Fighting Oligarchy Tour, I am convinced she can win and help lead the fight for working people.

The PCCC is doing important work to elect Analilia, which is why I am writing to you today.

Analilia Mejia is a great organizer and a great candidate for Congress who is taking on the Democratic establishment in her primary campaign. In Washington right now, we don't just need Democrats, we need progressive Democrats who are prepared to stand up and fight.

This race is an opportunity to set the table for boldness and vision in 2026. I agree with what Analilia said at our rally this weekend, "Any blue won’t do….What happens in Jersey will spread everywhere. It is one of the first contests of 2026 – let's set the tone and make it happen!"

The bad news: Donald Trump is rapidly moving this country into an oligarchic, authoritarian society and is continuing his attacks against the working class.

The good news: The American people are catching on and fighting back. Not only are Trump’s approval ratings plummeting, but strong progressives are being elected all across the country- including the great mayoral victories of Zohran Mamdani in New York City and Katie Wilson in Seattle.

Analilia has been a consistent fighter for the people of New Jersey and for this country. She led efforts to ensure families had access to earned sick days, health care, and fair wages, and she has proven herself a true movement leader. As someone who worked in a senior role in my presidential campaign, I can attest that she acts with integrity and is unwavering in her commitment to our shared values.

But she needs our help. The actual election is just weeks away. If you want to see a Congress with the courage to stand up to the insurance industry, the fossil fuel industry, big tech, and the oligarchs who control the political and economic life of our nation – Analilia needs our help if she is going to win her race.
