On January 27th, the DC Council will hold its annual oversight hearing about the Department of Health Care Finance’s performance.
DHCF was responsible for the cuts to the DC Healthcare Alliance last year and is preparing further cuts to the program in the coming budget.
We can stop these cuts by reminding the Council that healthcare is for everyone.
Register to testify on January 27th here. The storm this weekend may result in the hearing moving entirely online. Virtual testimony is always an available option if you are concerned about getting to the Wilson Building on icy roads.

El 27 de enero, el Consejo del Distrito de Columbia celebrará su audiencia anual de supervisión sobre el desempeño del Departamento de Finanzas de la Atención Médica (DHCF, por sus siglas en inglés).
El DHCF fue responsable de los recortes a la Alianza de Atención Médica del Distrito de Columbia el año pasado y está preparando nuevos recortes al programa en el próximo presupuesto.
Podemos detener estos recortes recordándole al Consejo que la atención médica es para todos.
