You don’t have to do everything. Start somewhere. |
Since the ICE surge in Minnesota, we have seen federal agents act with impunity. This escalation is meant to agitate, overwhelm, and scare people into silence and compliance. But no matter what, we will continue showing up to keep each other safe.
There are many ways to be involved. You don’t have to do everything. It takes all of us to do something: join your neighborhood response group, attend trainings, be a community legal observer, support mutual aid and organizing fundraisers. Visit our FAQ to find resources, guidance, and ways to plug-in.

Especially right now, your dollars matter as we organize to care for each other. We are fundraising for our Sanctuary School networks and we need your support. Contribute to our organizing here. Support neighborhood mutual aid funds here. The reality is, we would not be able to move together so swiftly and clearly without the power of our organizing infrastructure: more than 1,000 parents activated in 35 schools across the district. We are currently expanding into other districts.

Additionally, TakeAction and multiple base building constituent organizations are supporting a day without work, school, or shopping tomorrow, Friday January 23rd. We are united in our demands for ICE out of Minnesota, now. Join us for a day of truth and freedom with a 2pm march in Downtown Minneapolis.
Staying connected, informed, and steady helps our communities survive and resist. This is the work right now. As federal agents are getting bolder in their attacks on our communities, we have to be bolder in our care of one another. Every action matters–especially when we act collectively. |
