Friend, did you know that San Diego County has more farms than any other county in the United States?
Across 5,100 farms, farmers and farm workers have long kept us fed. California is America’s breadbasket — our state’s farms produce 50% of all of the vegetables and over 75% of all fruit and nuts.
Farm workers have also exercised their rights to organize, register voters, push for immigration reform, and push for economic stability for communities across the country.
They have given so much and worked so hard — but now, they’re under threat of senseless raids, funding cuts, and tariff impacts by the Trump Administration.
Our local farm labor movement has come too far; let’s show them District 4 has their back. Join us by shopping local and thanking our local farm workers: https://act.campaigndeputy.com/LPSDfarmers
Thank you for standing with them and for helping keep our community strong.
In solidarity and gratitude,
Team Monica
